These are my "Brighten Your Day" cupcakes. Yellow buttermilk cupcake with lemon zest frosted with a tangy lemon buttercream frosting and topped with candied lemon slices...So zesty!

- I once made lemon squares a total of three times in one day just to get them to taste AND look a certain way that would leave me satisfied. And so tipped off my desire and passion for baking, which has evolved into cupcakes playing the central role.
