Finishing out the month of August...

It's been a while since I posted on my blogsite and I'm going to blame that on the new website! You see while I'm loving the new site (that I created all by myself - amateur stuff for sure), my blogsite is my darling and I've been neglecting it. So! I have some catching up to do right....about....now!

 

 

The cupcakes below were done on a "in the mood for baking" day. I had a free Sunday in to do absolutely nothing and I chose to bake!

"The Usual Too" - Chocolate cupcake w/cream cheese frosting w/
chocolate jimmies. The two in the back are standard size and the
one if the front is a jumbo sized cupcake.

 

"Apple of my Eye" - This bad boy here is a cinnamon and brown sugar apple filled cupcake
 topped w/caramel infused buttercream frosting w/salted caramel drizzle. Delish!

The Inside!



Fall is Here!

 These are my 'Cinna-Ma-Yum' cupcakes!  A cinnamon mixture is swirled throughout a vanilla cupcake with brown sugar cream cheese frosting topped with sifted cinnamon.  Enjoy with a tall glass of cold milk (and weird as it may sound, I prefer ice in mine)!

My 'Peanut Butter & Jelky's'!  Ok. So I loooooove peanut and jelly sandwiches...I mean I have at least two (or three) a week and they must be served cold AND on wheat bread, but I'm not picky or anything when it comes to them...ah, yeah right! 

Now how this name was coined has to do with my childhood. When I was a kid, I could not pronounce double L's to save my soul (or so I was told).  I pronounced a cousin's name Kelky (Kelly) and jelly of course turned into (jelky).  So there we have it--Peanut Butter & Jelky!  These are yellow cupcakes filled with strawberry preserves topped with peanut butter buttercream frosting and a heaping dollop of strawberry jam.
